Gordon Willis. Cinematographer. Worked on The Landlord (Ashby), Klute (Pakula), The Godfather (Coppola), The Parallax View (Pakula), Annie Hall (Allen), Manhattan (Allen).

Willis was called the prince of darkness for his use of available light.  He created the “moody, golden hues” in The Godfather. (Peter Biskind, Star: The Life and Wild Times of Warren Beatty, 2010 ).
